Dupuytren's Update
Since I did this update I've seen more information about the needle aponeurotomy, and although I don't know much about it, it seems like it's worth looking into. Always good to explore your options. Click here to go to my original blog entry about my procedure and read the comments about needle aponeurotomy. They're at the end of the post.
Thanks for your information and your update Samantha. My Dad, my sister and I all have it. My Dad, who is 86, has had a number of surgeries as there were not options then, but last year had NA on one more finger. Although it was easy and relatively painless, his finger is beginning to pull in again. My sister and I are both candidates for either NA or collagenase in the future, so we appreciate your videos and your blog. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, it's good to share what info we have, isn't it? I didn't know anything about NA when I was diagnosed. I'm glad to see there are viable options to surgery.

Thank you. I saw the videos on you tube and am considering NA. As a guitar player, I hope to maintain as much dexterity as possible.
If you do it I'd love to know how it turns out and what you think of the process. Good luck to you.
Samantha
